well, the quest to bike to work everyday flopped like Bob Dole at a presidential debate. actually Scott said to bring the bike in for a tune up after 12 hours of riding, and i never took the time to try to get it from bburg to cville until christmas.
but, i did almost succeed with my 2008 new year's resolution -- to quit TV. there were a couple exceptions: (1) by mistake, on a business trip, watched 90 min of mythbusters in the hotel and then declared that it didnt apply on business trips, (2) made a conscious decision to watch a show on replacing a turbine shaft at a power plant, on the discovery channel with Ben, (3) the presidential debates, and (4) a blip of VT football at a friend's house. other than that, i didnt watch TV in 2008.
building on the success of 2008, ive scheduled a couple resolutions for 2009. they're posted on facebook, because i learned from 2008 that accountability helps.
